PM01 pre-orders are open. The list price is $45,990, the first customer units ship in November, and we are holding a small number of slots for labs that need a unit before the end of the year.

What is in the crate

  • The robot, fully assembled and bench-tested, with the firmware build we validated.
  • Two battery packs and a charge dock.
  • Emergency stop pendant, tethers and a spare set of foot pads.
  • A field service laptop with the SDK pre-installed and a working example project.
  • Two days of remote onboarding with the engineer who tested your unit.

What the SDK actually exposes

Joint-level position and velocity commands, IMU and foot-contact streams, a ROS 2 bridge and a Python wrapper around the whole thing. If your work is perception rather than locomotion, you can ignore the gait stack entirely and treat the lower body as a mobile base.

What it does not expose — and we would rather say this up front — is the low-level torque controller. If your research needs direct torque authority at every joint, PM01 is not the right platform and we will happily tell you so.

Who should not buy this

Anyone whose actual requirement is "move boxes from A to B on a fixed route" should buy a mobile manipulator for a third of the price. A humanoid earns its cost when the environment was designed for humans and you cannot change it — stairs, door handles, narrow aisles, tools built for hands.

Pre-order slots are allocated in the order deposits land. If you want a unit this quarter, talk to us before you file the purchase order.
